Following on from our global expansion news, it’s our pleasure to introduce you to Matt Holt, Director of Aletek North America.
Matt has a strong background in management and the ability to see the big picture, have a vision and execute. Let’s hear more from Matt.
How long have you been with Aletek?
I have been at Aletek for 3-months now. Hamish and I have been working on our partnership for about 2-years. We wanted to get it right, and that takes time.
What was your role before Aletek?
I managed a family business that is a leader in distributing products for water gardens and fountains. With our experience in providing the best service to our dealers, we built on that and developed our own range of products that answered many problems our customers were having. I am excited to bring that to Aletek and the US mining industry.
What drives you?
I am driven by seeing a team produce amazing results. For me, it’s all about the team and how it functions. If the team isn’t operating smoothly, then the whole thing is dysfunctional.
Something of interest about yourself?
I grew up in TN and moved to CA when I was eight years old. I watched my Dad start a business from nothing.
