Meet Naldo, our Business Development Manager in Chile. Naldo has an infectious positive attitude backed by hard work, technical skills and determination. He brings strength and motivation to Aletek’s South American team. In Naldo’s words, Aletek “motivates anyone, even more so when you know you can meet your personal goals and growth”.
Before working at Aletek, Naldo studied a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, then worked in Telecommunications, and moved on to mining. He worked for 12 years for Australian mining companies in Chile, Peru and Columbia. Naldo joined Aletek late last year and states that he had to start at Aletek from scratch.
“I had to find an office in Santiago and had a lot of work to sort out with the arrival of Aletek in Chile. It has not been easy, but it is a challenge that motivates me every day.”
Naldo specialises in large scale mining, including “everything to do with trucks, mainly Caterpillar & Komatsu, and software applied to the mining process.” His extensive track record helps “our clients not only in the sale, but also in the post-sale, being concerned about them is an added benefit that they value a lot.” He values honesty, loyalty, empathy, kindness, humility and what resonates with him the most is perseverance.
In Naldo’s free time, he enjoys playing the drums, fishing, riding his motorcycle and most importantly, being with his family. We’re privileged to have you on our team Naldo. You’re an Aletek legend!
