When it comes to the idea of fitting a new DPF to LandCruisers for underground mining, many baulk at this idea. We’d like to challenge this mindset. The DPF upgrade hesitation is due to a bad experience with inferior product designs, low utilisation and DPFs with unrealistic short-service intervals. There was also the thinking that partial filters were the only systems that worked.

Here’s what we’ve done to overcome these issues for our pioneering LV (light vehicle) DPFs:

  • Adopted an ‘outside the box’ design mentality
  • The impossible is now possible (thanks for waiting!)
  • Use of advanced catalyst technology
  • Superior flow design

Our forward-thinking approach and superior design make reconsidering an LV DPF upgrade a must. The benefits of our new design include:

  • Reinvented service intervals (12 months versus 4-8 weeks)
  • Reduced TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)
  • Reduced cleaning costs
  • No more low power or pressure issues
  • Exceptional emission reductions

We’re driven by innovation, and thinking outside the box is a part of our core DNA. It’s a part of our ongoing commitment to excellence to help create a safer working environment for underground workers. The Aletek Advantage, don’t compromise.
